Kastgen, Chairman
Thomas Kastgen is a Member of the Board and currently the acting
Chairman of Leading Brands of the World, the only professional
entity aimed at driving the ‘Luxury Business’ in India.
With a keen interest in luxury he has dedicated the last 15 years
of his life to the luxury goods trade in Europe and the Middle
East. Over a year ago the potential of the Indian luxury market
caught his eye and since then he has focused his expertise towards
understanding the Indian luxury market and developing strategies
that will work best in India.
In his capacity as CEO of Middle East Aston Martin, Mr. Kastgen
has also spent the last year analysing the Indian luxury automobile
market and is responsible for creating India’s first white
paper on luxury automobile trading.
In the Middle East, Mr. Kastgen is responsible for strengthening
the market positioning of Aston Martin as one of the leading luxury
sports car brands. He has also implemented various innovative
marketing concepts, developed the Middle East dealer network and
successfully built a strong network of high net worth individual
customers and retailers for luxury products.
Mr. Kastgen has always had a special interest in the luxury automotive
trade, after graduating from the German Business School he held
management positions with Mercedes Benz and Audi in Europe. For
the last 8 years he has been in the Middle East working with Audi
and currently Aston Martin.

Devyani
Raman, CEO
Devyani Raman is the CEO of Leading Brands
of the World, currently the only professional entity aimed at
driving the ‘Luxury Business’ in India. Devyani realized
the ‘premium gap’ in the Indian luxury brand representation
market and with due diligence and quick footedness progressed
with the reality of forming ‘Leading Brands of the World’
and to direct a business venture understanding the varying measures
in luxury brand management specifically in the Indian terrain.
As the company’s CEO Devyani Raman
continues to remain at service to the companies ongoing ground
and elevated levels of input and is committed to thinking, deciding
and acting for the best interests of their clients within the
realm of their brand international guidelines here in India.
Progressing with Devyani Raman’s
first and deeply committed endeavor -Leading Brands of the World
Private Limited that has evolved through financial commitment
of European and Indian investors who in turn have ongoing international
professional experience and skill sets over a decade in the luxury
trade market – Amalgamation of eastern hospitality and local
norm recognition with western exposure to international standardizations
leading to the creation of India’s first professional brand
management and consultation firm specializing in ‘Luxury
brand representation’.
Her aim is to work in clarity of partnerships
and produce brand befitting work that allows continuum in a sphere
of professionalism towards client’s needs that fuels Leading
Brands of the World to higher ground.
Her prior experience in the luxury business
includes working with the British Luxury Council in London with
a posting in India to start up operations for the World Luxury
Council as director business development.
In 2005, under her direction, her team
showcased bespoke and leading events including a befitting platform
for HRH Prince Michael of Kent’s visit to Mumbai and Delhi
in 2005 for the launch of World Luxury Council in India. As well
as ideate, conceptualize and implement Aston Martin (Middle East)
Luxury Automobile Trade Forum with related industry leaders in
New Delhi. Furthermore, Devyani was a moderator at India’s
first luxury conference hosted by Hindustan Times and co-hosted
a private cocktail reception for the global heads of luxury brands
attending.
Devyani Raman is unique as per record of
professional expertise. She has experienced professional on ground
realities through her tenure working with Highland Distillers
(Macallan and The Famous Grouse Whisky as country manager), Celebrity
event management with Procam International, International business
networking events for London’s premier club Chinawhite.
Devyani is additionally the sole licensee and CEO of Luxury Marketing
Council in India.
